Bridgewater Gets Wake-Up Call in Wake of Republican Primary

From Somerset County: The Somerset County Board of Chosen Freeholders is now livestreaming its work sessions and regular meetings.

"I have always been fully committed to open and accessible government. Livestreaming furthers that aim," said Freeholder Director Brian D. Levine. "More and more residents of all ages are getting news and information online, which reinforces the need to livestream our meetings."

Bridgewater, NJ: Jeffrey J. Brookner is the only Democrat and one of three candidates running for mayor in the Bridgewater primary election being held on Tuesday, June 4.

Brookner is running uncontested for the democratic ticket. However, there are two Republicans running in a contested race including current mayor and incumbent Dan Hayes and current council president Matthew Moench.
